Prayers2Persevere

Prayers2Persevere was birthed at the start of a hiatus from my professional career in HR. I found myself in a season of constant stress, anxiety, and spiritual warfare when God called me out of the working world and into developing this ministry. Under the weight of being an overachiever as well as a woman of Faith, I had to rely on God to help me develop the tools to persevere during one of the most challenging seasons of my life, which meant learning how to bring God into all areas of my life, including my career.  

For much of my life, I operated under the false assumption that I was successful because of my own abilities, thoughts, and ideas. And while that is mildly true (because every good and perfect gift comes from God), I neglected to give God the glory and honor for the success I had and instead took the credit for myself. I remember many internally uncomfortable moments of being awarded or congratulated for a particular win and wanting to say, “it’s all because of God” or “thank you, Jesus” and feeling like the person I was talking to wouldn’t relate because they didn’t believe in God. For years I missed out on sharing God’s goodness, mercy, and power with others because I didn’t want to offend anyone or make the situation weird. 

Fast forward to 2023 when I decided to go all in with Jesus at work. I began sharing my faith with coworkers and bonding over our love for Jesus and our desire to increase our frequency of praying. We met faithfully for over a year and the miracles of God immediately showed up in each of our lives. Not only did we build an unexpected community with each other, but our individual relationships with God grew exponentially! Over time, we became better equipped to navigate challenges at work and beyond because the power of the Holy Spirit was working in and through us, and we had a community praying for us every day.  

I knew what God started at that job was just the beginning of something even greater. Soon after saying “yes” to God and leaving my job in October 2024, He gave me the vision for Prayers2Persevere, and it was launched in November 2024.  

Prayers2Persevere equips people with the tools to pursue an intentional life of prayer and intimacy with God while creating community and a safe space to discover and live out our life’s purpose. Regular convenings, including virtual weekday morning prayer calls, and resources for developing healthy spiritual disciplines are the foundation of Prayers2Persevere. We are preparing a generation of believers who are unashamed of the Gospel of Christ and on fire for God!
