Father, I am grateful to be your child and to know You. You have been so good to me, so patient and kind. I look around me and see You. Your creation, your love manifested in people, and your continual provision. You have ordered my steps and held my hand in times of uncertainty. I am learning to trust You fully in all things and continue to grow in that trust at work. God, work is hard. I’m weary and tired. The constant emotions of stress, worry, and anxiety are too much for me to carry. I pray that Holy Spirit will show me how to rest in You even while I work. Help me to be still. To invite You in. To rely on your strength and not my own. Partner with me, Holy Spirit. I need You; otherwise, I’m not going to survive. Be my peace and my guide. Be my mouthpiece and inhabit my thoughts and actions. Use me, Lord, so You get the glory. Teach me how to let go and find peace at work. Return the joy of work back to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
