Heavenly Father,

Today, I come to you with all my cares, hurts, worries, and fears. Forgive me of my sins, Lord. I’ve fallen short more times than I can count. Forgive me for turning away from you. For ignoring your voice and putting my wants before spending time in your presence. I know that you are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). As I repent, I pray that you will give me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me (Psalm 51:10). Just as you have forgiven me, help me to forgive those who have offended me.  

I seek to honor you with my life. Teach me your ways. Show me the right path and point out the road for me to follow (Psalm 25:4). As I read your Word, allow it to be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105). Great is your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:23)! In your precious and holy name I give thanks, Amen.
